New Haven, Indiana – The 8th Annual Veterans’ Memorial Motorcycle Ride is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2017 in New Haven. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the American
Legion Post 330 and a $10 donation will benefit the Schnelker Veterans’ Memorial Park. (The rain date for this event is set for June 3, 2017.)

After the opening ceremony, salute to our military by the Legion Honor Guard and the singing of the National Anthem, this 40+ mile motorcycle ride will take off at 1:00 p.m. from the American Legion Post 330 and arrive back at the American Legion in New Haven.

New Haven Mayor Terry McDonald said, “This ride will benefit renovations to Schnelker Park Veterans’ Memorial Park. Various veterans’ organizations will be present to offer their services to military veterans. Commercial vendors will also be available to greet our many visitors and provide them with products and services. I am proud to be a part of this event once again.”

 
OPEN HOUSE – AMERICAN LEGION

1. The American Legion Post 330 will host an open house from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. offering food specials and entertainment.
2. American Legion memberships will also be made available for folks who are interested in becoming a member.
3. Live entertainment will be provided by the band “Backwater Band”.
